“Retreat from Smog”
Amy Walls, Greg and Margaret, with Harriet Swenson and her family, set off for the beach Thursday morning only to be forced back into the canyon by the smog that drifted over the beach. The children were beset by coughing spasms, and both children and grown-ups were thoroughly miserable. It was a real relief to be back in Topanga.
